I'd like to tell you about an incident that happen to a co-worker of mine back in the late 90's. He was fishing buy himself , on Oswald lake, situated about 100km west of Timmins , the lake is accessed by old existing logging trails. After a couple hours of fishing, an outfitters plane landed right next to him. The pilot, stepping out onto the pontoon, holding a 12 gauge shot gun, told the fisherman that if he didn't get off this lake right away, their would be trouble. The fisherman replied, that he had all the right in the world to be fishing this lake. At that time the pilot raised and pointed the shot gun directly at the fisherman, and said, leave now or you might not make it home. Not wanting to be shot at or possibly killed the fisherman left immediately.
After contemplating for several days, whether to report this incident to police, he didn't. He knew it was his word against the outfitter, and with no other witnesses present, chances of charges being laid where slim. After a couple years past ,he regrets not reporting the incident to the proper authorities.
This incident, shows you to what extreme some OUTFITTERS are capable
