Thank God!
Ontario Parks has finally stepped up and made an attempt to control this once pristine area.
The garbage, beer bottles, and old tarp hunt camps being left behind by all the ATVers was becoming a huge issue in this area.
Cudos to Ontario Parks for limiting motorized access.

You miss the point.
Did they limit motorized access for ALL people? Or did they provide certain groups, businesses, and races of people with privileges that the ordinary public is now denied?

I guess some people are missing the point all camp owners in this area can get to their camp by A.T.V, TRUCK,
SNOWMOBILE, BOAT, or AIRPLANE it limits how many people can use the area that way. I believe all people should be able to use it and I am a camp owner in this area. I have been in this area for 40+ years and we had to clean up for all kinds of outdoors people not just people who drive a.t.v.s. Ontario parks send their staff to clean the camp grounds yearly and most of the camp grounds are by canoe access only and they leave garbage behind too. Now I am not saying to build new roads but let us use what has been there for 50 years. It is still a pristine area and the next time you are up there and you are walking on that nice canoe trail that my family cut or the trapper or the other camp owners who all drove there you tell me how you got there because you didn't walk.
